Parking

Click here to view UM’s campus parking map.

To purchase a parking pass (what you will buy is referred to on the parking map as a “day pass”), visit this page on the UM Police’s site and navigate to the Parking Portal. You will need to create an account. The passes are virtual and validated using your license plate number.

NOTE: Parking on campus is free on weekends. Do not select weekends in the Parking Portal (it will charge you for them). You will need to create a separate parking pass for each week of your stay. You can add multiple passes to your cart at once for fewer bank transactions.

Flying

It is best to fly into Missoula International Airport (MSO).
If you will rent a car, follow the driving directions above from Missoula Airport.

Shuttles

From 12:30pm to 7:30pm on Sunday, there will be a UDASH shuttle that runs every 30 minutes from Missoula Airport to the Comfort Inn University to Jesse Hall. It will be parked outside of the main entrance to the airport, and have CoLang signs in the windows. The digital reader board will read “Special Shuttle”.

Uber/Lyft

The Missoula International Airport is ~6.5 miles from campus (a 10-15 minute drive). We encourage attendees to consider sharing an Uber or Lyft with another CoLanger!

Free Public Transportation

Missoula has a free bus line called the Mountain Line. Visit their website or download the smartphone app for specific route and schedule information. We highly recommend the Mountain Line app (it is more user-friendly than the website).

!!!** The Route 11 bus from the airport runs on weekdays only **!!! Almost all of the other bus routes run every day of the week - please see Mountain Line’s website for more information.

Take the Route 11 bus from the airport to the Downtown Transfer Center. From the Transfer Center, take the Route 12 bus toward 55th St & Bridger Court. Tug the cord in the bus to signal the bus driver to stop at either (1) Arthur Ave & Eddy Ave or (2) Arthur Ave & University Ave.
