Academic Credits

Participants may opt to receive university credit for their participation in CoLang 2022.

3 credits for workshops only
6 credits for workshops and practica

To receive university credit, there is an additional transcript recording fee ($155/course - subject to change), which is not included in the registration fee. The credit recording fee will be payable to the UM Office of the Registrar on campus. Participants earning credit will be given a syllabus, and are required to complete the credit requirements, including perfect attendance and a report about the CoLang experience.

OPI Renewal Units

Linguistics Program at the University of Montana is a Renewal Unit Provider approved by the Montana Office of Public Instruction (OPI)'s Renewal Units. Participants who attend the two-week workshop period (steps, eight workshops, and a 90-minite session) are eligible for up to 50 renewal units.
