Story Maps

ESRI Story Maps combine text, graphics, photos, and videos to create an interactive, web-based resource on a given topic. ResilienceMT project partners present these story maps highlighting climate change, adaptation, and resilience in communities across Montana. Use the links below to explore each topic.

Drought

Drought is a natural part of Montana’s climate. Indeed, Montana is currently in a period of drought that has lasted over 20 years. In this story map, you’ll explore why drought occurs, how it impacts Montana communities, and how (given Montana’s warming climate) our communities can become more resilient to drought.
