This geographic area was developed with funding from Joint Fire Sciences Project 98-1-8-06, A Risk Based Comparison of Potential Fuel Treatment Tradeoff Models. Values used came from a meeting with the Forest and Reserve District in May 2001 in Silver City, New Mexico.
