Carolyn Crowder

Personal Summary

Carolyn graduated from the University of Montana in May with a B.A. in Political Science and English, and a minor in journalism. She will begin her graduate studies in political science at UM in the fall, while working as a TA for the Model United Nations course. In 2025, she will pursue a Master’s in Global Security and Borders at Queen’s University Belfast, which will prepare her for a career in international reporting. She is interested in the politics of identities and economic policy, particularly at border sites. Carolyn has traveled to Northern Ireland and Greece to study politics through UM’s Global Engagement Office. In her free time, Carolyn enjoys reading and writing, and works on nonfiction pieces that blend personal narrative with political storytelling.
