American Indian Student Services 

American Indian Student Services supports Native American students in their transition, achievement, and success at the University of Montana; by providing services and programs that have been established through collaborative partnerships with various campus and Missoula community members.

Inclusive Excellence for Student Success

Inclusive Excellence for Student Success (IESS) is a student-centered office designed to support our diverse community and engage in diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism efforts at UM. IESS works directly with underrepresented students to both lift up and give strength to their events and ideas, as well as address any concerns or issues students may have with the University, their peers, or the Missoula community.

Branch Center

The Branch Center is the space for student diversity and inclusion at the University of Montana. The Branch center is a space dedicated to promoting respectful and collaborative dialogue, programming, and resources, in an effort to foster understanding, support, and inclusion for underrepresented students.

Global Engagement Office

The mission of the Office of Global Engagement is to promote and provide international life-changing experiences and related educational opportunities.

Bias Response Team

The Bias Response Team (BRT) works toward making UM a safe and inclusive environment for everyone. This team consists of experts on campus who advocate and support students who experience or witness biased-related incidents.

Student Advocacy Resource Center (SARC)

The Student Advocacy Resource Center celebrates diversity, supports the right of all students to pursue success in our academic community, openly respects and cares for everyone, and is committed to a campus free from discrimination and unwelcome physical, sexual, emotional or social coercion. It is our goal that every interaction and every communication be respectful, considerate, professional, and supportive.

Office of Equal Opportunity & Title IX

The Office of Equal Opportunity & Title IX supports UM’s commitment to diverse and inclusive working and learning environments free from all forms of discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct. We work to eliminate barriers inhibiting individuals from achieving their full potential in education, employment, and other programs at the University.

UM Police

UM Police are here to support you. Law enforcement officers are always available 24 hours a day to respond to emergency and non-emergency calls about sexual misconduct. 

Office of Disability and Equity

The Office for Disability Equity (ODE) is the campus resource for disability-related information. They provide consultation, training, and academic services to advance accessibility and inclusion by taking an intersectional approach to disability. 

MOSSAIC Program

The MOSSAIC program (Mentoring, Organization, and Social Support for Autism/All Inclusion on Campus) is a University of Montana program for UM students and community members. MOSSAIC supports people with Autism and related disorders.

Outfield Alliance

The Outfield Alliance is a lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, and intersex (LBGTQI) group open to University of Montana employees and graduate students.

UM Allies

UM Allies facilitates trainings on campus to help faculty, staff, and students become better allies to the LGBTQ community.

S.E.A. Change Initiative

The S.E.A. Change Initiative seeks to renew UM's commitment to the work ahead in removing barriers that prevent women from leading empowered lives and that prevent society from benefiting from these strong and determined women. 

Vets Office

The University of Montana has established the Vets Office to assist veterans and their family members with using their VA Education Benefits. The Vets office acts as a liaison's between the students, University, and the VA. The Vets office works to provide a positive environment for veterans and family members, offering a place to study, eat, and relax. 

ASUM Child Care

The Associated Students of the University of Montana (ASUM) Child Care, Preschool and Family Resources offers affordable, quality care for your child while you attend The University of Montana. ASUM Child Care works towards providing and promoting quality early childhood care and education.
