ECOR Facilities and Equipment

The ECOR Labs provide state-of-the-art growth chambers, equipment, and support necessary to conduct mechanistic experiments investigating plant, invertebrate, and microbe responses to controlled environmental variables.  These are located in two primary areas of the University of Montana:

ECOR Plant Lab

open chamber

The ECOR Plant Lab is located at Diettert Gardens at the UM South Campus.  This facility includes eight Percival Scientific Growth Chambers with capabilities including controlled daylength, humidity, temperature, and CO2 concentration (as well as water and nutrient regimes).  The head house provides ample wet and dry work space, with lab benches, basic equipment, and storage.  For chamber details and specifications, click on the links in the side menu.

ECOR Insect Lab
