The notification received by the recipient which requires administrative action. At this stage of the process, the recipient must click the link embedded in to the notice and be prepared to log in to the U-Approve application.

NAME & EMAIL
As decided by the initiator of the form, the recipient’s name and email will appear here.

STATUS MENU
Use the drop down menu to assign the appropriate “Status” to the submission.

COMMENTS
Adding a comment to the submission, is required when “not approving” the submission. Comments should help instruct the initiator on how to properly resubmit the form.

ACKNOLWEDGEMENT & "SIGNATURE"
Check the “Acknowledgement Box”  as this serves as both your signature and a confirmation that the submission has been thoroughly reviewed.

The notification received by the initiator of the submission after a recipient has marked the status as "not approved." At this stage of the process, the initiator has the opportunity to address the noted concerns and resubmit the form.

  • If at any stage of the routing process, the submission is marked at "not approved" - a notification email will be sent to all approvers included in the route.

ROUTE APPROVALS
When reviewing the form, please remember that route approvals are part of the form as well and must be inclusive and accurate. If you see someone missing from an approval route, please set the form's status to "Not Approved" and enter you comment identifying the person should be part of the approval route.
