Steven Garnier was born in Normandy, France. He grew up in an area overflowing with history. From the Vikings to World War II, he always loved to study history. Steven is specifically from the well-known island of Mont Saint Michel. He has been a French Instructor since 2013; he has worked with several military branches through different universities and vendors, both as a Language and Culture French Instructor and a Curriculum Developer. Steven went to the University of Caen, Normandy, and the University of Rennes, Bretagne. Finally, he went to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Steven is married and has two children. He loves gardening, traveling, and soccer; he is a certified coach.

Born in Cote d'Ivoire, West Africa, Deproux studied philosophy at the National University of Cote d'Ivoire and at the Ecole Normale d'Abidjan from where he graduated as a certified teacher of philosophy. After a decade of teaching in various high schools in Cote d’Ivoire, Deproux has been living in the United States since 2011 where he undertook graduate studies in French Literature, which culminated in a Ph.D degree from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Deproux is skilled on subject matters of Francophone literature problematic, differential comparatist approach to the Francophone tale, and analysis of hypertextual relationship.

Before joining The University of Montana, Deproux worked as a French Adjunct Professor at Montclair State University in NJ, Middlesex County College, Edison, NJ, and as a GTA at the University of Alabama

Tidjani (TJ) Kodjo

Tidjani Kodjo was born in Togo, a West African French-speaking country. He attended primary and high school in Ivory Coast (a West African French-speaking country). After his high school degree, he traveled back to Togo where he studied French and German literature at the University of Lomé from 1997 to 2001, where he graduated with a master’s degree.

Tidjani has been teaching French and German since 2001. He taught French and German in Lomé (capital of Togo), and in Innsbruck (Austria). Now he is a DCLCP French instructor at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He is married and has two kids. He likes reading, traveling, and playing soccer.
