You must submit a signed Study Plan Approval form*. GLI staff must sign off on the course intended to fulfill the certificate requirements. 

AND

The acceptance email from the Education Abroad Office.
These two documents must be submitted by November 27 for spring experiences and April 27 for summer and fall experiences. 

If you are applying for the scholarship, you must provide all documentation before your funds will be released. 

*If you are unable to register for the course(s) submitted in your Study Plan Approval form, you must find an alternative course that fits the requirements and e-mail gli@umontana.edu with new course information. Failure to do so may prevent you from receiving your certificate.

STUDY ABROAD-UM'S ISEP

The Letter of Certification from ISEP.
These two documents must be submitted by November 27 for spring experiences and April 27 for summer and fall experiences.

STUDY ABROAD-NON-UM PROGRAM

SERVICE, INTERNSHIP, FIELD EXPERIENCE OR RESEARCH (INTERNATIONAL OR DOMESTIC)

You must submit verification from the UM faculty member overseeing your credits.  This short verification statement should include the course number (e.g.  ANTY 398), the number of credits (e.g. three credits), the term those credits will be awarded (e.g., fall 2022), and a short description of the experience for which they are awarding credit. It may be submitted to you and you can upload it into Moodle or the faculty member can submit it directly to gli@umontana.edu. If you are receiving credits from an entity other than UM, you must submit similar proof of those credits.

The acceptance letter from the organization/institution.

NATIONAL STUDENT EXCHANGE

These two documents must be submitted by November 27 for spring experiences and April 27 for summer and fall experiences.

UM FACULTY-DIRECTED STUDY ABROAD

You must upload the acceptance letter or an email from the faculty member.
