Funding

Funding for the Faculty Long-Term Programs comes from the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.

All funds awarded in response to this call for proposals must be spent during Fiscal Year '24 (July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024). Award funds cannot be deferred past the end of the fiscal year, and any funds that remain unspent after the end of the next fiscal year must be returned to the Office of the Provost and Vice-President for Academic Affairs.

Applicants should be aware that the dollar amount of any award is final and that additional support will not come available for successful applicants whose expenses exceed the award amount. Applicants are strongly encouraged to carefully research the anticipated costs of all activities associated with the exchange (e.g., visa costs, travel to consulate for visa application, etc.)

Depending on funding awarded, it may be necessary to submit a revised budget in order to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposal at a reduced level of funding.
