The Harry S. Truman Scholarship

Students awarded this fellowship receive up to $30,000 for graduate school in the US or abroad. Candidates are selected based on their academic and community service records, and career and graduate study interests, in particular, their commitment to a career in public service and policy. While many disciplines are supported through this award, candidates must be knowledgeable about public policy issues in their field. Award recipients commit to public service for three of the first seven years following their graduate study. University endorsement is required.
