IT Resources

FCFC IT is the in-house tech support entity of the W.A. Franke College of Forestry and Conservation.  We are an IT group with works alongside UM IT, providing specialized services and support to faculty, staff, and students within the college. 

Faculty, staff, and students can use the UM Solutions Center to find solutions/information by searching the Knowledge Base and can request IT related support by filling out an incident request, service request, or by emailing support@cfc.umt.edu

Computer Labs

The College of Forestry and Conservation has labs available for both Graduate and Undergraduate Students. The labs are a shared hardware/software resource. Labs are open M-F 8-5 (excluding holidays) when not being occupied by a scheduled class.  Click on each lab to see the schedule.

Typical software in all the labs: Adobe Reader (SH 218 and 219 have Creative Cloud), ArcGIS Desktop, ArcPro, Google Earth Pro, Microsoft Office, R and RStudio, SPSS and more..

Other UM Computer labs

IT manages two general access computer labs that are open to any University student, faculty or staff. Labs are free for any student to use as long as a class is not being held in that lab at that time.
