Registration

Registration for Summer 2024 opens Monday, March 11th at 10am.

Participants are required to complete the registration process and submit full payment to secure their spot in the youth camp.

Registration is open online or by phone (406) 243-5295. For online registration, University of Montana employees and students will be prompted to log into Campus Recreation's online portal using their NetID (same login information as Cyberbear).  The General Public is invited to create a new member account (if not done so already), which will then be used for all registrations using the online portal.  Please note, when you are registering your child for camp online you must first make an account for yourself. After creating your account you will need to add your child as a dependent on your account by clicking on your name in the upper right-hand corner of the registration portal.

Forms

Medical forms, Guardian’s Waiver, Release of Liability, Check-out Authorization, and Youth Camps Camper Code of Conduct are required to participate in camp. These are available to fill out during online registration.  Otherwise, these forms will be emailed to each guardian after the registration form has been approved.

Camper Conduct

Campus Recreation reserves the right to dismiss a camper if their behavior jeopardizes other campers’ safety and well-being.  In these situations, guardians will be called immediately.  For minor issues regarding camper conduct, guardians will be notified in person or by email.

Cancellation & Refund Policies

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, leading to the need for cancellation of Youth Camp registration. To provide clarity and fairness to all participants, we have established the following policies:

Registration & Payment

Participants are required to complete the registration process and submit full payment to secure their spot in the youth camp.

Payment can be made online, in person at the Recreation Center, or over the phone.

Cancellation Timeline

Early Cancellation: Requests made more than 30 days before the start date of the camp will receive a full refund.
Standard Cancellation: Requests made between 15 and 29 days before the start date of the camp will be eligible for a 50% refund.
Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 14 days of the camp start date will not be eligible for a refund.

Refund Process

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving a cancellation request. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

Camp Cancellation by Organizer

In the event that a youth camp session is canceled by the organized due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. natural disasters, facility problems, indifficient enrollment, or other circumstances beyond our control), participants will be entitled to a full refund. The organizer is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by participants, such as travel expenses.

Special Circumstances

Requests for exceptions to this policy due to documented medical or family emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis. In such cases of documented emergencies, a partial refund or credit may be considered at the discretion of the organizer.

No-Show/Partial Attendance

Participants who do not attend the camps without prior notice will not be eligible for any refund. Participants who must leave the camp early for any reason will not be eligible for a refund or pro-rated fee adjustment.

Communication of Cancellation

Participants are required to inform the organizer of their intention to cancel in writing via email or a designated form. When a cancellation request is received, a member of the Youth Camp Administration will be in contact with the issuer to discuss the request.

Changes to the Cancellation Policy

The organizer reserves the right to modify the cancellation policy with notice to participants.

By registering for Campus Recreation Youth Camps, participants and their guardians ackowledge and agree to abide by this cancellation policy. The camp organizers reserve the right to make exceptions or ammendments to this policy at their discretion. Any changes will be communicated to participants in a timely manner.
