Respect the Privacy of Others. If someone sends you a direct message about how/where you should contact them to receive a good, then never share this information with anyone else. Respect the privacy of others in the same way that you want your privacy to be respected.

We Recommend Not Providing Any Personal Contact Information. Except your University email address (if you want to) in Public Channels. While you may decide that it is easiest to give a getter your personal contact information or address to arrange how you want to gift the getter, we recommend that you do this only through private, direct messages. You can send a direct message to a person by clicking on the “Chat” on the sidebar of Teams. Please see more information on this in the instructions.

Only Come to Get an Item After You Make Arrangements with A Giver. In the event that a giver posts where one can pick up the item, we ask that you please verify with the giver to make sure it is okay for you to come to the location to pick up the item. We want to ensure that nobody causes accidental theft.
