Expanded in 2019, the Phyllis J. Washington Building addition is Gold Leed-certified. The PJW expansion captured many points with by optimizing energy performance and construction waste management. By using recycled building materials, development strategies that maximize open space, and a green power plan, the PJW addition is an amazing place for students and staff to explore sustainable building at UM.
