Personal Summary

Astella is a recent transplant to Montana from Washington state, but she used to spend her summers growing up in Hamilton and Libby Montana visiting granparents and helping on the farm. She began working at the University of Montana in August 2022 in the College of Business. 

Currently, she is certified as a Family-to-Family NAMI teacher, where she teaches others about mental illnesses and how to best understand while supporting family/friends that are mentally ill. With this background she has raised money for NAMI in the past and helped coordinate a NAMI walk/fundraiser in Portland, OR. She has also taught Family-to-Family classes in Beaverton, OR and Camas, WA. 

In the past, she attended and graduated from Central Washington University for English and Business Administration specializing in Leadership and Management.
