August 2023 - Dr. Shayna Killam and Dr. Jade Bosic-Reiniger virtually presented to members of the Pharmacogenomics (PGx) ECHO Project based at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy.

The PGx ECHO focuses on improving the confidence of healthcare professionals in the use of pharmacogenetic testing in patient care by providing them with education and consultation through telementoring as they incorporate evidence-based information into clinical practice.

Their discussion, titled “Equitable Pharmacogenomic Implementation in Underserved Populations” spoke on the importance of ensuring underserved communities are included in pharmacogenomic research and implementation efforts. They also presented and received feedback on a current patient case.
