Internship Application

We are offering several paid internships during the academic school year as well as over the summer. You'll have the opportunity to work directly with one of our labs on campus or with a private contractor in a related field. We're excited to have you join us!

The goals of the internship program follow. Applicants will be assessed based upon the strength
of their resume, their academic performance, prior experience with our program, and
alignment with the following program objectives.

  1. Advance high profile, locally responsive research in natural resource management; specifically in the areas of snow water resources and fire management.
  2. Test scientific hypotheses using data acquired from drones and processed with machine learning.
  3. Transfer best practices in machine learning, drone use, and natural resource management between commercial and academic groups.
  4. Develop a technologically skilled workforce in natural resource management through student internships.
