Make Your Plan

Multidisciplinary degrees are unique in that they allow for a high level of personalization. Here is a guide to designing your own individualized degree:

Step 1 - Make Your Plan

  • Be sure you understand the degree requirements.
  • Choose 2-3 academic departments to complete your 39 upper division credits within.
  • 12 credits must be completed within 2 of these departments, and 15 credits must be completed within the third.
    • Or 15 credits can be completed to within 2 departments while the last 9 credits can be from any department.
  • Choose your capstone.
    • The suggested tracks listed below are convenient in that they have already been pre-approved by faculty members and many contain micro-credentials.

Step 2 - Meet With Your Advisor

  • Schedule an appointment with the Multidisciplinary Studies Advisor, Rick Anderson, 406-243-2316.
