Extended Courses

Extended Courses facilitates educational opportunities for students outside the traditional classroom. By partnering with academic departments at The University of Montana and a variety of sponsoring agencies, Extended Courses is able to offer an array of academic credit courses designed for teacher recertification, professional development, outdoor learning experiences, and personal enrichment. Formal admission to the University is not required for these courses, and non-residents pay the same fees as residents.

Course Schedule

Registration is required through the sponsoring agency, and each course carries a fee payable to the agency. Click on the course name (in the Course Schedule) for contact information.

Participants wishing to earn academic credit from the course must pay an additional $135 fee at the first class meeting. Credit cannot be applied toward a graduate degree at The University of Montana for courses numbered 455 and 555 in C&I, COUN, EDLD, and HHP.
