Samantha Grant was an Upward Bound student for 5 years. She graduated from the University of Montana in 2004 with her B.A. in Elementary Education and graduated in 2006 with her M.Ed in Education Leadership. Sam was a counselor for the Upward Bound program in the summer of 2001.
Samantha has participated in many activities that included Native American youth. These activities include Missoula Youth Conference, Honoring Our Youth Powwow, presentations at varies schools, tutoring, EOP mentor, and many more. She participated in many clubs at the University of Montana and was a co-founder of WaYaWa, American Indian Education Society. She won the Diversity Advisory Council Student Achievement Award two years in a row for her work on and off campus.
