When looking for potential sources of federal funding, good places to start include the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA), which are listed below.

NASA has also created a Federal Acquisition Jumpstation that links you to a variety of federal procurement information.

	Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) The CFDA is a government-wide compendium of Federal programs, projects, services and activities which provide assistance or benefits to the American public. It contains financial and nonfinancial assistance programs administered by departments and establishments of the Federal government.

	Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) An experimental server through the U.S. House of Representatives Internet Law Library for searching the CFR.

	Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) The FAR was established to codify uniform policies for acquisition of supplies and services by executive agencies.

	Federal Register (FR) The Federal Register is the official daily publication for rules, proposed rules, and notices of Federal agencies and organizations. Grant solicitation notices are published in the Federal Register and on the Office of Science website.

	Foreign Agriculture Service (FAS) The FAS is part of the United States Department of Agriculture.
