National Survey of Student Engagement

NSSE Let your voice be heard

All first-year and senior students have received email invitations to take the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE). These emails will provide you with access to the survey, which is administered online and should take just 20 minutes to complete.

The survey is designed to measure student engagement in two parts:

1) the amount of time and energy you put into your educational experience
2) how UM uses resources and creates opportunities designed to increase student learning.

UM’s findings will be compared with peer institutions across the country--over 600 schools are participating in NSSE this year!

NSSE results will help administration identify areas of strength as well as areas needing improvement. Take the survey today and have your voice heard. (The survey remains open until June 1, 2013).

NSSE can only be accessed through
your email invitations!

NSSE is provided here only for informational purposes. You cannot submit this survey.

Freshmen & Seniors:

We want to hear from YOU! Watch for your email invitation and take the NSSE.

It's your chance to provide valuable feedback and help improve UM!
