The Board of Regents of the Montana University System must approve names of university buildings and significant exterior spaces. The President of The University of Montana shall submit nominations for naming of buildings and significant exterior spaces to the Montana University System Board of Regents. All other facility-naming requests must be approved by the President of The University of Montana.
