Dr. Byeong-Keun You received his Ph.D. degree in Curriculum and Instruction and M.A. degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) at Arizona State University. He also received his B.A. in English Education at Kongju National University, South Korea. Dr. You taught Korean language and culture at Korean Cultural Center and Tempe Korean School in Arizona. He also served Tempe Korean School as a principal. Dr. You taught university level courses such as MCE 230 (Understanding the Culturally Diverse Child) and SPF 301/501 (Culture and Schooling) at Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, Arizona State University. Dr. You worked at Southwest Institute for Families and Children as a project manager and qualitative data analyst. Dr. You’s teaching and research interests include teaching Korean/English as a second language, heritage language education, bilingual education, and early literacy.
