accepts grant for Mediation Clinic

The American College of Civil Trial Mediators
selected The University of Montana
School of Law’s Mediation
Clinic as the recipient of its 2009 grant award. ACCTM
Fellow and UM alumnus Tracy Axelberg presented the
award, which is aimed at continuing the study
and practice of alternative dispute resolution and
provide training to students in mediation practice
serving the Missoula community, to Clinic Director
Eduardo Capulong at the group’s annual meeting
in Banff June 13. “It’s an honor
to be recognized by such a prestigious organization,” said
Professor Capulong. “The grant will extend
the Clinic’s work on many fronts, and we’re
excited to work with the leaders of the profession.”
The
