Admissions—Expenses

Tuition

For the 2009-2010 academic year, tuition and fees for first-year students are $10,946 for Montana residents and $24,304 for nonresidents. Financial Aid Budget

We estimate you will spend an additional $1,150 per year for law books and related materials. Parking on campus ($175/year) and health insurance ($700.00/semester) are subject to change and/ or additional fees. As a student you will be eligible to use the Curry Health Center as well.

Tuition and fees are subject to modification by the Board of Regents and the University without notice.

Housing

Most students live off-campus in apartments, houses, and rooms in private homes near the University. Information on off-campus housing is available at the Missoulian newspaper. The Source (located in the University Center) also provides a non-electronic message board where private housing is listed.

The Residence Life Office offers shared (Lewis & Clark Villages) and non-shared (University Villages) housing within walking distance of the School of Law.

Computers

A reasonable allowance for purchase of a computer will be determined and considered by the financial aid office upon request. Any approved amount will be added to the financial aid budget.
