UM's web environment is governed by the University Web Committee. The committee has representatives appointed by Faculty Senate, Staff Senate, ASUM and more than 20 colleges, schools and departments.
The web committee has three standing subcommittees that provide guidance on the UM homepage, the portal and web standards and compliance.
The homepage subcommittee sets direction for the content and design of the University’s homepage, landing pages and navigation pages. The committee gathers and analyzes user feedback and guides the IT Web Technologies Group and University Relations on periodic homepage redesigns and modifications.
The OneStop subcommittee provides strategy, policy and procedure recommendations, and serves as OneStop project ambassadors to the campus community.
The standards compliance subcommittee solicits feedback and determines effective strategies and procedures for documenting compliance with web policies.
