Wireless Access

The University of Montana provides wireless access for students, faculty, and staff. Wireless access is available for mobile computing devices such as laptops. Prior registration is not necessary. Two options are available for connecting to the University's wireless network: Cisco VPN (Virtual Private Network) and WPA2 Enterprise.

In addition, campus units (department or equivalent) may sponsor wireless access to the campus network for designated campus visitors. Requests can be made for individuals or for groups (e.g. conferences or other large meetings varying in time length).
