What are you doing now?
Co-Founder/Executive Director of the Oberweiler Foundation, a private family that provides grants for assisting individuals achieve higher levels of wellness through the application of alternative medicine procedures, prevents the demise of America’s wilderness/wetlands as a result of private exploitation and/or public encroachment and assists sick and/or abused children.
Greatest Griz moment?
The whole experience was special, which makes it difficult to pick just one, but being nominated for a Fulbright Scholarship was pretty special.
What is the biggest difference between the campus when you were a student and now?
Much larger, with mnay new academic buildings, as well as the new library, the Rec Center, the University Center and the football stadium, to name a few.
What made you get involved with the Board of Directors?
I so enjoyed my experience as a member of the House of Delegates that I wanted to continue to be actively involved with the Alumni Association and the strategic planning process for the growth of the University.
Why is giving of your time to UM important to you?
It’s my way of giving something back to the University that gave so much to me and had a profound impact upon my life and whatever success I’ve achieved.
