Cancelling Appointments
Canceling an appointment can be done in person, or by phone. There is an answering machine on over lunch and after hours, and there is voice mail also if the phone is busy. If the phone is not answered simply leave a message as instructed. The phone number for the clinic is 243-5445.
UNCANCELED/MISSED APPOINTMENTS (NO-SHOWS)
If a student misses an appointment without canceling there will be a ‘No-Show’ fee assessed. The charge is $10.00 for a missed appointment that is one hour or less and $20.00 for appointments longer than one hour. No missed appointment fee will be charged if prior notice is given.
An appeal process is available for the student who may feel the No-show fee has been assessed unjustly. Please call the dental clinic for details. If a student is late for their scheduled appointment by more than 10 minutes, they may be asked to reschedule their appointment, and the No-Show fee may be assessed.
