Disordered Eating and Body Image

  

The Health Enhancement office has a large library of books on the topic of body image and disordered eating. Books from the library may be checked out for a limited time. Please stop by our office located in the East end of the Curry Health Center to view the library and bring your Griz card if you’d like to take a book home.

Eating Disorder Resources at UM

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) CAPS at Curry Health Center provides counseling for students who are struggling with an Eating Disorder or for their concerned friends. Have a friend who you think may be struggling with their eating? Contact CAPS for advice on how to help. CAPS can be reached at 243-4711. For more information about CAPS visit their website.
Dining Services Nutrition Counseling

A registered dietician consults with students who are in need of more information about managing disordered eating and eating disorders.

Please contact Becca Shern at 243-2315 or visit the Dining Services web site for more information. This service is provided FREE for students living on campus and at a minimal charge for off campus students.
