MOLLI Summer Adventures 2013

-Pilot Program-

Summer adventures for kids and their 50+ grandparents

July 9 and 10, 2013

The MOLLI summer camp for grandparents and grandchildren has been an enjoyable experience for many over the years. This year we introduced a pilot program for the 2013 camp, focusing on science education with two community partners. MOLLI has been partnering with spectrUM at the University of Montana since the inception of the summer camp program; spectrUM hosted two sessions on Neuroscience in their new downtown location. In addition, this year we partnered with the Montana Natural History Center, who hosted one session on Exploring the Natural World of Birds at their Fort Missoula classroom location. Camp sessions with both spectrUM and the Montana Natural History Center were over a two-day period and included both classroom and field experiences.

Please join us in thanking spectrUM and the Montana Natural History Center for a fabulous summer camp this year! Check back next spring for information on the upcoming MOLLI Summer Adventures 2014.

Registration will be available in the spring through the MOLLI office. Adult participants must be MOLLI members. Learning pairs consist of one 50-plus adult and one child, with grandparent and grandchild relationship optional.
