Volunteer Opportunity:  Classroom Facilitator

Please consider joining our support team of classroom facilitators. Beginning Fall 2011, we have selected a few classes as a pilot program for this opportunity. From introducing the instructor, assisting with audio-visual needs, and distributing and collecting evaluations – our classroom facilitators help make sure courses run smoothly.

Future Facilitators

Facilitators must be registered, paid, and currently attending the class they will assist with; and will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. You will need to be available the full term and must attend a brief orientation and hands-on training before the term.  Lunch will be provided.

Classroom Facilitator
Position Description
 
Purpose:  Support your Classroom Instructor and assist other MOLLI members

• Introduce yourself and the instructor
• Circulate the attendance sheet and give it to MOLLI staff at the end of each class
• Ensure the instructor has enough handouts (usually printed ahead of time by MOLLI staff)
• Distribute and collect course evaluations; instruct participants how to complete them and encourage open-ended comments on the back page
• Give course evaluations to MOLLI staff
• Be an ambassador for MOLLI by encouraging others to join!
