Course Description:

This course is designed for managers who want to develop their work force while continuing to meet day-to-day workplace requirements. Practical coaching tools are explained and practiced so the manager is able to capitalize on coaching techniques immediately.

Enhancing Job Performance Through Coaching will begin with developing a basic understanding of the adult learning model. This model is then transferred to the coaching process. Steps and techniques are discussed and demonstrated. The crux of the course will be practical coaching exercises focusing on skill development initially and then job performance enhancement.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Identify specific coaching outcomes and methods to measure skill development
  • Develop techniques for achieving employee buy-in for the coaching process
  • Use of coaching techniques to assist with skill development and job performance enhancement
